I was referred to DF23,Inc. as a young adolescent who immigrated to the USA from La Ceiba Honduras . I was 18 yrs. old, aged out of local DFACs and limited in speaking English. DF23 staff rendered their services to me and provided me with a housing voucher where I received the essential living necessities. DF23,Inc. assertively contacted my Honduran Consular and was the agency to initiate and process my legal application with USA Immigration to allow me to remain in the US and be a productive USA citizen.

I received my Legal work permit and was able to gain lawful employment and live the American dream . DF23 saved my life . I experienced love & compassion. I had no direction until DF23 guided & protected me. I learned English, was given confidential talk sessions and attended group sessions to share my story of survival. Each time I smile I remember DF23 staff giving me a purpose in life and reason to smile.
